Larry Murry, a gentle giant with talents that surpass any measurable means of size, can truly be regarded as one of the most dynamic and treasured gifts given to the entertainment world.

It was at the youthful age of eight that Larry began singing with his congregation in the Bay City Baptist Church in Michigan. Even at this early age, Larry would not only sing from his heart but from his soul as well. The happiness and joy that he experienced while rejoicing in song inspired him to share his love of music and song with others.

As time went on and he entered high school, Larry's vocal ability would give him the opportunity to perform in numerous musical productions and revues as well as participate in variety of local talent competitions.

It was during this period that Larry not only matured as a young man but as an entertainer as well. He began to develop and hone his skill as a true performer and master of ceremonies.

His ability to relate and communicate with his audience attracted sponsors of various events in the state of Michigan. It was at these events that Larry's unique stage presence and persona were perfected. His charm and charisma, along with his quick wit and devilish smile became his legendary trademarks. These key ingredients, along with his amazing vocal ability would only add to the intensity of each of Larry's performances. Audiences were not just entertained, they were captivated, and Larry became the center of their focus.

In 1994, opportunity knocked and Larry was there to answer the door. Bay City Mayor "Paul John" and the City Council invited Larry to host several of the city's sponsored events. Events such as the DARE & SADD Programs, the annual PIG GIG BBQ Contest, Bay City's most popular event, and Bay City's BUICK RIVER ROAR. These prestigious events put Larry into the public eye. It was after these particular events that Larry would win Bay City's "MALE VOCALIST of the YEAR" in 1994 and again in 1995, which would ultimately lead him to the title of "MICHIGAN STATE VOCALIST of the YEAR" in 1996. These awards were the catalysts in the creation of Larry's own Entertainment Business, "2 TONS OF FUN ENTERTAINMENT" in Michigan.

In 1997, seeking to advance his professional career, Larry was offered and accepted the understudy for the Broadway show "The Manhattan's" in Las Vegas, NV. Although the show only lasted six months, Larry knew Las Vegas would be his new home. Larry didn't miss a beat. He started his entertainment business here in Las Vegas. As always, his charm and charisma won the hearts of his Las Vegas audiences. 2 Tons of Fun Entertainment has become one of the top DJ companies in Las Vegas.
